NEW Marfione Custom Knives Custom Antique Bronze Hustle Challenge Coin w/ Pouch

$79.95

The origin of the Challenge Coin is still up for debate but its purpose is not. It signifies a special achievement or membership within a specialized organization. Believed to originate from World War I with the Army Air Corps, now the Air Force, coins were given to each member of a Squadron for their brave service. It became common practice for these coins to be carried on their persons at all times. They're dubbed "Challenge Coins" as members may challenge one another to display their coins at any time. If you fail to produce your coin, the round of drinks falls onto you and if you do have your coin, the drinks are on the challenger. An awesome way to show your devotion and a tradition as American as apple pie.
