QUICK TAKE: THE WINTERBLADE FUSION AND THE WODERFUL STEALTH LOCK

I feel like an indicator of a truly unique design is when you have to get a patent involved. How often do you have an idea so great it would be unimaginable to have it stolen from you? Apparently often for Winterblade. Many of his designs in the past have gotten a patent and the latest to add to his pile of extraordinary good ideas is the Stealth Lock. The premise of the Stealth Lock is having an easily accessible flipper without the annoyance of a protruding flipper tab. To solve this, Brian Winter has employed the use of a discrete latch that hinges into the flipper position. What a novel idea. It is definitely one of those "why didn't I think of that?" ideas. Well, luckily for you, with Winterblade around, you don't need to think. Like most of Winter's knife designs, they are a blank canvas for his unique style and aesthetic. All his knives boast a modern feel that reminds you that you are a part of the future of knife making. The lightweight and form fitting materials also insures the ease of carry for any use case. The action is smooth and satisfying. Many knives today feel more like a really well executed and expensive fidget toy. These are long sold out but I am glad I was able to purchase them for review. We are looking forward to seeing Winterblade's future designs and improvements on existing models.
