INTRODUCING: THE DEMKO BUTCHER BLADE AD20

INTRODUCING: THE DEMKO BUTCHER BLADE AD20

Demko has found a formula and by God are they going to keep using it. One of the most undeniable truths of the knife world is that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. That has been the case for Demko’s AD20 line of manual knives with their patented Shark Lock system. The hard work has already been done with years of developing and perfecting the AD20, so now all they have to do is make subtle changes to the aesthetics and keep releasing them. Is this me complaining? Definitely not. Demko still makes and develops different models that live up to their incredible standard of excellence but no model gets the love and attention like the AD20. Similar to parent with a favorite child, the AD20 gets all the love and attention with a diverse line up of blade and handle styles. Different metals, textures and blade shapes can make one knife have infinite possibilities. Finiding a unique blade shape in this day and time is a rarity but none the less, the Butcher Blade has become an impressive addition to the AD20 family of knives. The Butcher was a popular blade shape in the 1800s when life on the range was a more common occurrence. Needless to say if you’re looking to break down a freshly killed animal, the Butcher blade has you covered. Did I skin an animal with this knife? No. Could I imagine doing so? Sure. I’m sure there are many in the knife community that put these knives through their paces applying them to every use case imaginable. I am not one of those people. My knives never touch the living or recently deceased, they are used for use in the home like for opening boxes and other mundane cutting tasks. The AD20 Butcher is overkill for most EDC enthusiasts but by God is it a cool piece to add to the EDC rotation.
